dEVELOPMENT OF UP TO 43 DWELLINGS IN NINFIELD, east sussex
Mark Doodes Planning was appointed to prepare and submit an outline planning application for the development of up to 43 houses on land to the east of the village of Ninfield East Sussex. Associated infrastructure and access arrangements were also included in this application.
Ninfield is considered a large village and is located near to numerous large towns such as Hailsham, Uckfield and Eastbourne. This provides residents of Ninfield with suitable opportunities for employment and accessible leisure facilities and shopping locations.
The proposed development site is located on the edge of the village. MDP were aware that two other development sites had recently achieved planning consent and within our proposal, a footpath was included to connect these sites together promoting village cohesion. It was believed the proposed development site could continue the settlement boundary in a logical way and provide additional homes in an area facing a housing shortage.
MDP instructed and led a large team of experts throughout the research, design and application stages. Urban designers, ecologists, arboriculturists and transport consultants also informed the making of these proposals to ensure the development best utilised the site and didn’t impact negatively on the surrounding environment.
The Application has now been submitted to Wealdon District Council.
