Erection of two dwellings in Camberley, Surrey
Mark Doodes Planning prepared and submitted a planning application for the demolition of an existing bungalow and erection of two detached dwellings in Camberley, Surrey. It is felt that the additional dwelling will have minimal impact on the street without adding excessive pressure to the surrounding roads. As new developments need to respect, respond to, and enhance the characteristics of the residential location, the proposed scheme puts a focus on providing housing that is both high quality, respectful of the area’s character, and designed with the neighbourhood in mind. The surrounding are features homes with mixed forms and materials, in addition to diversity of architecture. The proposal represents a sustainable form of development that brings new family accommodation to a site heavily under-utilised in an urban area. Development on the site in Camberley places no pressure on the sensitive edge of town, nor the Green Belt, making it a sustainable location for this small housing development. |
