RESTORATION OF BARN AS an ANNEX

MDP completed and submitted a planning application for the removal of existing storage structures and the restoration of a barn (one of a pair of mirrored barns) for use as ancillary, residential accommodation in Chalgrove.

The proposal included removing all of the existing structures from the site and rebuilding a barn as existing around 70 years ago. Historical research was undertaken and it was demonstrated that the footprint was no bigger than the other paired barn.

This isolated location was initially resisted by the Local Authority but following pre-application engagement and a weighty planning submission, consent was granted in July 2016.
