MDP identified this agricultural barn as potentially being suitable for conversion for an existing client who we were already working with to secure new equestrian facilities.

Despite some initial concerns by the Local Authority about the structural integrity of barn and ground contamination issue, MDP appointed and managed a small team of third party consultants to overcome LPA concerns and were successful in securing Class Q Planning Permission for the conversion of the agricultural barn .

Upon the granting of planning permission MDP managed the next phase of development including arranging Building Control drawings, structural drawings, discharging of various planning conditions and a short tender for a suitable contractor to undertake construction.

The barn has now been fully converted to residential use.
