INFILL DEVELOPMENT OF FOUR DWELLINGS in Harwell
Mark Doodes Planning has submitted a planning application for the demolition of an existing home and the erection of four dwellings in Harwell, Vale of White Horse DC. This application is currently at appeal.
Located at the edge of a growing village, the site is located off Reading Road with great services and connectivity. This project would be a sympathetic redevelopment of the site to make better use of the land without placing development pressure on adjacent land. The scheme will provide a modest number of new open market family houses in a sustainable location, and the dwellings will blend in well with its surroundings.
The site is comparatively unconstrained. Whilst the site is within the Lowland Vale, a local landscape designation, it is visually contained and there will be no impact upon any views across open landscapes, from public vantage points or from the street scene.
