Barn Conversion into two dwellings near Royal Wotton Bassett
Mark Doodes Planning was appointed to prepare and submit a Class Q planning application for a barn at Wootton Fields Farm. The barn was proposed to be converted into two good-sized family homes with parking out front. As the agricultural building is being changed to two dwellings, the barn will be converted with some alteration to the exterior.
Wootton Fields is located in the former district of North Wiltshire, (now known as the Wootton Bassett & Cricket Community Area) which is part of the unitary authority of Wiltshire Council.
MDP presented a robust case demonstrating that the scheme was compliant with the relevant leg. The Local Authority concurred with this view, granting permission in December 2009.
This site is now being sold as part of the main farmstead.
