In February 2021 Mark Doodes Planning submitted a planning application for a new 3 bed house in Clewer, Windsor.
Careful consideration was undertaken throughout the design evolution process to ensure the proposed new dwelling was in keeping with the existing buildings, including using matching material and window sizes to ensure a seamless view along with building line. The site also fringed the setting of a local church and is next to a Conservation Area so it was important to propose a building that was in harmony with its surroundings. MDP was also able to recommend and work with a company who undertook a sequential test for this location, a crucial element of this application. More details on sequential tests can be found in our Flooding: Sequential and Exception Test section. |
