class Q BARN CONVERSION CREATING TWO NEW HOMES IN
GRANBOROUGH, AYLESBURY VALE
In July 2019, MDP secured planning permission for the conversion of agricultural barns into two family homes under the Class Q Permitted Development provisions. The application was initially refused due to officers holding the view that the barn was not convertible within the scope of the legislation. MDP assembled and issued a strong statement of case for appeal, which was overturned with planning permission being granted. The application was for two identical homes, semi-detached, providing impressive modern living arranged over two floors. The site commands impressive views out to the open countryside, providing a stunning location for the premises. The homes were designed by Architects William Green and contain some stunning features as well as practical and functional living spaces, all within a beautiful edge of village rural setting. MDP are delighted to have gained planning permission via Class Q Approval for this development. |
