Three dwellings IN Isbury, Brightwalton
Mark Doodes Planning submitted an a planning application for an in-fill development of three homes in Isbury, Brightwalton. The project included demolishing an exhisting home to create three dwellings, including two four-bedroom homes and one three-bedroom. An appeal is currently in progress.
The site is located in the centre of Isbury on a mix of rural land and brownfield. It is reasonably unconstrained in planning terms. The “blank canvas” provided by the site gives a creative opportunity to deliver housing, whilst also enhancing wildlife and allowing for a compatible mix of units.
The proposed development would provide three homes with good private amenity space and parking. The proposals will add new landscaping, ecology gains, and housing to the area without making a negative impact on the character and appearance of the locality. The new dwellings will fit comfortably on the site, and are likely to be occupied by either first-time buyers and/or families who will provide crucial support to the local community.
