MDP worked with the client to bring forward two submissions around the same time.
The first submission sought to ensure that the existing planning permission for a pair of semi-detached dwellings, along with the various conditions, didn't time-expire whilst a second submission brought forward a superior alternative design for a single self-build dwelling. The new design was inspired by local barn conversions and, after some discussions with the heritage officer, was supported by LPA officers. The project represents two years of work to optimise the site, improve the design standard over the consented scheme and will bring to life the client's ambitions of a low carbon custom designed home. |
