21 new dwellings in Stadhampton
Mark Doodes Planning was appointed to prepare and submit a planning application for 21 dwellings in Stadhampton, including eight affordable homes. At first the application was refused, an appeal submitted and upheld in December 2017. The dwellings will range from two to four-bedrooms. The site makes use of an existing access that will be widened. On top of that, the site will create a pedestrian-friendly environment, as well as accommodating visitor parking and an equipped children’s play area. The site has open views to the east, south, and west across the Green Belt and agricultural land. As it’s just eight miles from Oxford, Abingdon, and Thame, the site is located in a well-serviced village with ample transport links. MDP also managed the sale of this prime development site which sold in 2018 to a local developer. MDP were not part of the Reserved Matters phase of work but these details can be readily found on the SODC website. |
